Med School Graduate?!?!?!

How freakin’ amazing is it that Channing is now a MEDICAL SCHOOL GRADUATE?! She is now DOCTOR Channing Greenburg! And I absolutely loved her graduation photo session at Hays Street Bridge and Mission Espada. For those of you not as familiar with the medical journey, in order to get accepted to medical school, you have to complete at least 12 years of education pre-college, 4 years of undergraduate work, commonly at least 2 years of post graduate work (like a masters degree or PHD) and THEN you do 4 years of medical school. And even after that, before you can practice medicine on your own, you have to complete a medical residency under that supervision of a more experienced doctor for anywhere from 3 to 10 years depending on the specialty you choose.

Channing rocked her graduation photo session! She could be a freakin’ model and that’s abundantly apparent in all of her photos. Channing’s family flew into town for her graduation, and her super sweet sister came with us to help Channing laugh during her session. We had a total blast! Channing followed her style guide perfectly and looked stunning. I send one to every client before their session to help them look their best! Channing also has a super contagious personality that just keeps you laughing and smiling. The clouds gave us beautiful lighting at Mission Espada, but then the sun peaked out on Hays Street Bridge and gave us that gorgeous golden hour light! One of the reasons you always want a professional photographer for your special moments is because they understand lighting and how it will benefit or hurt your photos.

Congrats!

Congrats, Channing! You have worked so incredibly hard to get to this point, and you deserve all the time in the world to celebrate! You have so many amazing things in store for you (like your possible opportunity in Africa!?!?!). I can’t wait to see what you decide. You’ve got this, girl!! Enjoy these favorites from your graduation photo session!

It all started when I went in Thursday night (5/5/22) to be induced at Children’s Hospital. (well, actually it started 39 weeks earlier, but whatever). No one thought I would make it to term due to Addy’s growth restriction and my perinatal depression. I was incredibly desperate to be done with being pregnant around 30 […]

Sadie and Jimmy are seriously THE CUTEST!!! I am completely in love with everything about their San Antonio river engagement session. The outfits, the location, the details, and their laughs! A previous client referred Sadie to me and we got together to do a super quirky, best friends session. So when Jimmy officially proposed to […]
