Maternity sessions in San Antonio are either really beautiful, or swelteringly hot, depending on what time of the year it is. But this maternity session at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens was beyond beautiful. It was absolutely perfect! Check out these gorgeous backdrops, a stunning couple, and the cutest little baby clothes known to man!

Thomas and Briana are yet another wonderful medical couple that Kyle and I have befriended through medical school. Thomas is in Kyle’s year at school and actually belongs to the same study group! Briana is part of my medical wives bible study group, so between both of those things, we’ve gotten to know Briana and Thomas quite well. And let me tell you. This kid is remarkably lucky! Thomas and Brianna are a drop dead gorgeous couple. Throughout the session Kyle kept joking about how their kid won the genetic lottery – both parents are super smart and attractive! Their kid will be blessed with the prettiest eyes and a killer smile. Watch out world!!

You don’t want to know?!

During their maternity session in San Antonio botanical gardens, Thomas and Briana mentioned that they had just finished up their baby caring class at the hospital! Thomas already knew a lot of the things they taught them from med school, but some things blew his mind. Like how many diapers you need per child per day!! I think it’s something crazy like 10 per day!

Thomas and Briana decided they want to be surprised instead of finding out the gender of their child beforehand. So they still don’t know their baby’s gender! They are far more brave than I would be!! I’m definitely a planner, and my Type A personality could not handle not knowing! However, Briana pointed out that not knowing helps her keep from impulse buying all the cute baby clothes and how at both of her showers so far, people haven’t given them baby clothes, people have been really intentional about the gifts and really gotten them things they’ll need! So maybe there are some pros to waiting to find out
