Okay y’all, get ready to be blown away by this session not just because their clothes were on point, or because the natural light in this room was a photographer’s DREAM, or even because this nursery is the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen! Nope, get ready to be blown away because Jamie freaking Catts is the personification of perfection. He was the absolute sweetest little baby and I was honored to be there to document his first few days at home with his family! So many mothers are having to go without these precious photos because of covid-19 but I was so happy we were able to make this one happen! Getting onto the military base the Catts live on is a struggle I’m used to for various family and newborn sessions (San Antonio is called Military USA for a reason!) but this time it was even more difficult due to the coronavirus restrictions. Between that and all the other covid craziness, I’m so glad we were able to make this thing happen!
Some of my favorite pictures from this session (part of which was in a nursery where we had to keep it so warm to keep infants relaxed and not-fussy during a session that there was legitimately a 10 degree difference between the rooms!) are the photos of Jamie and his individual older siblings on the big bed and the photo of all of their feet in a row! There’s just something about little teeny feet that just warm the soul, isn’t there?
