I had SO much fun with Sarah and Cody at their bridal session at the Witte Museum! I don’t think we stopped smiling and laughing the entire time! Bridal sessions are some of my very favorite types of sessions to shoot because they are so full of JOY! You’ve got that “we’re about to get freaking married” vibe going on, but you get to finally take a break from all the wedding planning and just focus on you and your relationship with each other. It’s the freaking best. And Sarah and Cody had the most joyful bridal session I’ve seen in a while 🙂

The Witte Museum acted as a perfect backdrop for this super joyful bridal session. It’s also a great option for your wedding venue as well! (If you haven’t chosen a wedding venue yet, make sure to consider the Top 5 Wedding Venues Near San Antonio and How to Choose the Perfect Getting Ready Room for Your Wedding Day.) The Witte has some beautiful backdrops and is right on the river so you get to have both the architectural vibe AND the nature vibe!

Trust is so important during a bridal session!

I always LOVE it when my couples trust me to make them look and FEEL amazing during their session. And Sarah and Cody did just that! We were able to get really adventurous and fun with their posing because they were game for ALL of it! All I had to say was ” You know I think it could look really cute if we…” and I wouldn’t even get it all of the way out of my mouth before they were saying “Yeah let’s go for it!”. It was such an adventure and SO FUN! In photography in regards to posing we often say “It feels weird but looks great!” And it’s always so fun to have clients that fully trust me even if it feels a little weird in the moment.

Thank you, Sarah and Cody for such a fun, joyful bridal session! Thank you for trusting me and bringing your contagious laughter. I enjoyed every moment with, y’all and am so excited for your big day! Enjoy some of my favorites!!

It all started when I went in Thursday night (5/5/22) to be induced at Children’s Hospital. (well, actually it started 39 weeks earlier, but whatever). No one thought I would make it to term due to Addy’s growth restriction and my perinatal depression. I was incredibly desperate to be done with being pregnant around 30 […]
